The Dave House South continued to stay around 70 ^oF, while the Andy Shack varies from 60 ^oF to nearly 80 ^oF (with nearly that large a swing during the night of the 26^th). This graph shows, yet again, the importance of a large time constant in maintaining comfortable conditions. Besides that, this graph is also a good example of how sol-air is more important than ambient temperature in the performance of the system. Even though the ambient temperature drops from the 28^th to the 29^th, both buildings increase in temperature because the sol-air temperature is higher on the 29^th. The ambient temperature does matter since it determines the heat loss of the buildings, but the increase in sol-air temperature is still enough to overcome the extra loss on the 29^th and add heat to both systems.
