A Few Cloudy Days

The 24th was a cold and cloudy day, starting below 30 oF and maxing out at 40 oF. There was some heating available, as evidenced by the small peak in the sol-air temperature. Neither building increased in temperature that day since the incoming solar energy only served to maintain their temperatures. Although the Andy Shack fell behind the Dave House South without the sun, it immediately caught back up the next day. On a side note, the higher minimum sol-air temperatures for the 24th are indications of cloud cover since they insulate the earth from the coldness of the night sky.
