The Dave House North thermosiphon loop was broken (during the day on 9/24) by draining water from the roof and into the building. The Andy Shack thermosiphon was left alone. Although both systems need to be drained in the winter, they weren’t exposed to freezing temperatures this early in the season. The Dave House North was taken out of cooling mode primarily because cooling was no longer necessary to maintain temperatures in the 70’s. The building was ventilated over night on 9/27 to reintroduce fresh air. We kept the Andy Shack cooling to see roughly where the Dave House North would’ve been with continued cooling.
