System Connected

On the 22nd of June, the thermosiphon loop was finished. The downward spike in the North building’s temperature corresponds to the influx of hose water being added to fill the system. Over the next few days, the North building begins dumping heat at night and attenuates toward (and slightly past) the Andy Shack’s temperature range. Due to the large amount of water and the thermal energy stored in the concrete floor and the sheetrock walls, it takes a few days for the North building to get up to speed. Notably, it is still able to cool effectively despite the increased heat of the last few days.
