This graph reinforces all of the conclusions drawn from the previous graphs. The North building maintains a slightly lower range of temperatures than the Andy shack and the effectiveness of both at dumping heat at night depends on the difference between the radiator temperatures and the sol-air temperature. The North building had a piece of cardboard over the East window to block extra heat gain from the morning sun. This was removed in the evening on July 9^th to see what effect this would have on the building’s temperature. Also, white roofing panels were added to the South building, half on the 9^th and the other half on the 10^th. With the roofing panels on, the South building could reflect some of the sun’s heat during the day and not get as hot inside.
