Late in the Cooling Season
The ambient temperature dropped further over the course of this graph as the fall equinox approaches. Around this time, the south window begins to admit significantly more heat that the other windows as the sun falls in the sky.

Even so, the lower ambient temperature and good available cooling drop the inside temperature of the building to the upper 60’s to the lower 70’s during the day.
